Today is save the Ta-Tas day at my house. Yes, it is time for the annual mammogram. How fortunate I am to live in 2010 when we have such technology that can save lives. Yet, yesterday a woman at church told me she had never had one...it is embrassing and inconvenient! WTH!!!!!
I saw my mother die, but also hundreds of other women while we awaited treatment were suffering. Many had literally been butchered by doctors who had no clue what breast cancer was in the 1970's. Did my life change...oh yeah, but I'm now smart enough to know this is a GREAT DAY for women to be alive.
