What A Week!

I had a great week in Atlanta. I always enjoy this part of my job. One reason is you hear that other teachers across the state are experiencing the same type issues. Then you get an inside look at how item writers are interpreting our curriculum. You get to stay in a wonderful motel and eat wonderful food. But best of all, you get paid!


I also like going because I get to see Sarah everyday. I miss Sarah. Our Sarah is now very well known across the state. Those who have meet her, love and respect her as a highly intelligent woman. (Of course we've known of her qualities for awhile.) Her bosses seem to love her as well! (Always important.) Sarah has done an excellent job representing Butts County and teachers.

Gabe and Dan came and stayed at night so we went out to eat. We ate at the Varsity, The Old Spaghetti Factory, Mary Mac's, and The Hard Rock Cafe'. Gabe was very impressed with our travels around the city. He got to experience new things. Best of all he made a trip to the Lego Outlet. There he met Darth Vader made totally out of Legos. He was very impressed and now wants to visit as often as possible. Of course the news that they markdown Legos added to his desire.

So now it is back to work on the paper!
